We are looking for a Procurement Support Controller to join the Octagon Professionals projects team at the European Space Agency in Noordwijk (ESTEC). The Officer will support several projects in the ESA Directorate Earth Observation Program. The position is full-time with a fixed contract duration until 31.12.2026, with a possibility of extension.

As a Procurement Support Controller, you will support the Business Unit Controller within the EOP Directorate, covering the following tasks:

  • Support the implementation of Purchase Orders related objects in ESAs ERP system including implementation of shopping carts, creating and processing GRNs and resolving issues.
  • Support the implementation of contracts and CCN objects in ESAs ERP system including implementation of shopping carts on the basis of milestone payment plans and resolving issues.
  • Provide reports through statistics and progress status related to given tasks.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of project cost at completion and cost forcasts.
  • Prepare draft reports for internal and external use to be completed and issued by ESA staff members.

Take responsibility of the monthly workforce administration system by:

  • Creating/changing records
  • Creating/changing positions
  • Verification and validating the monthly cost account reports
  • Creating and following up on all ESA Restricted Tenders

The qualifications and experience requirements are:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the finance area with a minimum of 4 years work experience.
  • Knowledge of ESA-star system for Tendering & Registration an advantage
  • Knowledge of using workforce database systems
  • Familiarity with the use of ERP (finance) systems
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken; knowledge of French or another EU member state language would be an advantage.
  • A strong team player with leadership skills; comfortable working with tight schedules.
